THE KIDDERMINSTER GOLF CLUB SEEKS TO APPOINT A GENERAL MANAGER
This long-established West Midlands club wishes to recruit a motivated and suitably experienced individual to assist in its continued growth. Kidderminster is a private member’s club which is wholly owned (including all grounds and buildings) by the membership.
The club is currently undertaking a complete review of its management structure, with this NEW position of General Manager reporting directly to the Chairman. The General Manager will take full responsibility for the daily running and organisation of the Club and should have a proven knowledge and record of strong financial control and business development.
Good communication and liaison with all aspects of the Club including members, visitors, accounts, catering and the course management will be essential. The Club has a modern website and strong internal IT systems using Intelligent Golf and Sage for the prime functions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the management team at Kidderminster. The right candidate will help guide the club through the imminent changes to its structure, drive and develop the core business and assist in marketing the club to sustain its growth in membership and visitor revenue.
It is anticipated the appointment will be made at the start of the New Year and the changes to the management structure will take place at our AGM in April 2017.
