Gemini snaps up M H Systems’ assets
Gemini Network Media has purchased the assets of M H Systems, one of the leading software suppliers to golf clubs, just two weeks after the company entered administration.
Scores of golf clubs use the M H Systems’ CHIPS EPoS system for membership, subscriptions, handicaps and competitions‘ software. However, the High Court placed the company into the hands of two administrators at insolvency services firm Fisher Partners on June 12.
M H Systems’ director Sabine Duret said: “This is great news, both for our customers and our staff. Our customers have always liked our software and especially the level of support provided by our team, and as a result they have remained very loyal to us in a highly competitive marketplace.
“Now with Gemini’s backing, we can develop our latest software into a package that’s better aligned to the way the market’s going, that is integrating our administrative and EPoS software integrated with a club website product, and an online tee time booking system as well.
“Combined with our exceptional levels of service and support and our willingness to integrate with other applications from companies such as Eagle, BRS Golf and HandicapMaster, we believe one of our new strengths will be to offer club managers a much more flexible solution to their needs, tailoring well supported software around their needs and preferences.”
A director of Gemini Network Media added: “The support M H Systems delivers is clearly something their customers really appreciate, and I’m sure that our own customers at Golf Club Network will benefit from this level of service as well. We are therefore delighted to be working with Sabine and her team, and look forward to expanding our joint customer base.”
