Jumeirah Golf Estates updates website provision

27th November, 2013 by Jenny Yu

Jumeirah Golf Estates, one of the leading golf resorts in the world, has chosen to have its website delivered by ClubHouse Online e3 from Jonas Club Management.

DP World Tour Championship - Day FourThe resort, which saw Henrik Stenson win the Race to Dubai earlier this month, has used Jonas Club Management for the past four years to manage membership, point of sale, inventory, tee time management, golf lessons and reporting, and to administrate the Race to Dubai finale for the past five years.

The announcement comes after a busy month for the Canadian company, which has a major presence in British golf clubs.

The company exhibited at the Golf Club Managers’ Association’s conference in Leicestershire.

Spokeswoman Stefanie Mainstone said: “The brands of Jonas International being presented were Jonas Club Management, Club View, ClubMinder and the new COMMiT suite with an aim to distinguish between the various brands as they grow in number.

“Delegates were encouraged to visit the Jonas stand with a free raffle in which a numbered COMMiT branded mug was chosen at random from a pile. When the conference closed down, a name was drawn by a member of the hotel staff to win £200 in Red Letter Day vouchers – just in time for Christmas! This initiative helped Jonas meet most delegates in attendance.”

The winner of this voucher was Scott Patience from Reigate Heath Golf Club – who had been managing the club for less than two weeks when he was announced the winner.

Scott had, however, worked with Jonas Club Management software at both Worplesdon and Windlesham golf clubs since 2010.

“I have been impressed with the Jonas Club Management system in my experience of it. We are currently evaluating our systems and although the Jonas Club Management system seems ‘too big’ a system, COMMiT has been the one that stands out,” he said.

“For more information on any of the Jonas International products, please email me on stefanie@clubminder.co.uk or call on 0800 567 0 567, selecting option two,” added Stefanie.
