APPOINTMENT OF CLUB MANAGER
Bristol and Clifton is an 18 hole parkland club, founded in 1891 and situated in open countryside within 2 miles of Clifton, Bristol. It is a private members’ club, which regularly hosts major regional and national events, most recently this year’s English Seniors Amateur Championship.
In advance of the departure of our current Managing Secretary, we are inviting applications for the new appointment of Club Manager. Reporting to the Club Chairperson, the successful candidate will manage and develop all aspects of the Club’s operations and be responsible for implementing Council’s decisions and policies. He/she will lead a team of staff in maintaining high standards for both members and visitors at one of the leading golf clubs in the Region.
We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, innovative individual committed to improving the financial stability of Bristol and Clifton and taking it forward in line with the demands of managing a modern day club, while being sympathetic to the profile of our Membership. Encouraging and retaining new members particularly the young and those with limited opportunity to play golf will be a key role.
Salary is negotiable, dependant on experience.
