Applications are invited for this key post at Stowmarket Golf Club Ltd.
We are a well established members’ club with a mature parkland course who enjoys a reputation for high standards within a happy and friendly atmosphere. We are fortunate in having a full membership and a sound financial position. Our current secretary is due to leave us in February 2012 and we are seeking a replacement capable of maintaining the club ethos whilst providing the dynamic leadership and ideas necessary to continue to take the club forward. Reporting to the Captain, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the club, representing the club’s management to members, staff and visitors along with the implementation of board decisions.
The ideal candidate will have had previous management experience and be able to demonstrate:
• Business and Financial Acumen
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Administrative ability
• Personnel Management skills
• Marketing Ability
• IT skills
• Knowledge of course, bar and catering operations
• An appreciation of golf and its traditions
• A warm and pleasant disposition.
The Salary package will reflect the importance of this key post.
