GENERAL MANAGER
Remuneration Package Negotiable – to include accomodation if required
The Club invites applications for this appointment. This long established and successful members’ club is seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven track record to lead the organisation.
The General Manager reports to the Board, implements its strategy and takes responsibility for the day to day management of the Club’s affairs including ultimate responsibility for all ground, office, catering and bar staff.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate:
* Excellent management skills with a clear ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplined team
* Communications expertise and computer literacy relevant for a golf club
* A full and up to date knowledge of golf, covering all aspects of a traditional members’ club as well as a readiness to work flexible hours
* Good financial awareness and management accounts experience
* An ability to significantly develop and market the golfing and commercial opportunities of the Club
* An appropriate knowledge of health and safety and employment law
