Keith Lloyd welcomes delegates

The chief executive of the Golf Club Managers’ Association (GCMA), Keith Lloyd, has opened the GCMA conference at the Barcelo Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire by extolling the virtues of the event.
“If one person has one apple and another shares an apple with him, then he’s still only had one apple,” he said.
“But if he has one idea and someone shares an idea with him, then he has two ideas.
“It’s those ideas that come from these networking opportunities, which creates the focus on change so that we can go back to our golf clubs and educate our boards that we are the right manager at the right club, right now.”
