Retief Goosen builds putting green in his own back garden

Two-time US Open winner, Retief Goosen, has built a 300 metre squared golf green in his garden in Surrey.
The synthetic golf green has been installed at the house he moved into earlier this year – his previous residence had a green that he had used for putting and chipping.
“He instructed us to give more emphasis to longer chipping shots,” said a spokesman for Southwest Greens, which project managed the construction.
“I am delighted with my new green; it’s an excellent practice facility for me at home. The garden has been redesigned and the green fits perfectly with the surrounds,” said Retief Goosen.
