General Manager – St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club

St Ives (Hunts) Golf Club is a Private Members Club, and has recently moved to a new multi-million pound eighteen hole inland Links Course designed by Cameron Sinclair. The course is already highly acclaimed, and will mature to become “of the highest quality”.

The Club is looking for an individual with flair and proven management capability to help realise its’ full potential.

 

The Role will include responsibility for:

• Management of all day to day activities in the Club, including bar and catering, event organisation and golf course maintenance.

• Developing and marketing the golfing and commercial opportunities of the Club.

• Delivering agreed budgets.

• Developing and implementing the strategic plan together with the Committee.

 

The Successful Candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven management capability in a customer facing environment, preferably golf related.

• Experience of large scale function management and marketing.

• The energy to take the club forward; and buy into the passion for the Club.

• The ability to get on with the members, forward thinking and outward going.

• Diplomacy and a sense of humour; an articulate communicator.

• Sound commercial experience with financial/budgetary control to P&L Level.

• Computer literacy, knowledge of health and safety and employment legislation.
